The body synthesizes 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) from tryptophan, an essential amino acid present in protein-rich foods like meat and dairy products. 5-HTP is used to make the neurotransmitter serotonin, whose most important functions include regulation of mood, appetite and sleep.
Composition:
Per tablet:
- 5-hydroxytryptophan (Griffonia simplicifolia seed) ... 100 mg.
Cargo Agents (Dicalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose), coating agents (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Colours: Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin), anti-caking agents (Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate).
Suitable for vegetarians.
Posology:
One tablet a day.
It contains no wheat, gluten, barley, soy, eggs, milk and dairy products, lactose, nuts, sulfites, celery, fish, shellfish and yeast.
